Services

Systems built properly, and the support to keep them running.

We are systems consultants first. We look at how your business actually runs before we touch the technology. Then we either build the system you need, or become the team that runs it.

Systems

Design, build, integrate and support.

For businesses that have outgrown the way their systems are put together. Zoho is our specialty, and we work across the wider bench where a different platform serves the business better.

01

CRM implementation

A CRM designed around how you actually sell and deliver, not the default configuration. Includes migration from spreadsheets, or from a system that was never set up properly.

Zoho CRM · Migration · Pipeline design
02

Systems integration

One enquiry entered once, then visible everywhere it needs to be. We connect quoting, delivery, invoicing and accounting so information stops being retyped.

Xero · Industry software · Any API
03

Automation and AI

Workflow automation, AI-assisted tools and dashboards built for the way your business already works. Automation that is worth building, not automation for its own sake.

Flow · Deluge · AI agents · Dashboards

Fractional operations

Executive and operational support, retained monthly.

For businesses that need someone senior enough to run the operational side of the business and manage the systems it depends on, without hiring for it full time.

Executive assistants and operations managers on this arm are Australian based, working in your time zone.

01

Executive support

Senior leadership support. Strategy work, board and client presentations, document creation, and the follow-up that keeps commitments from slipping.

Strategy · Presentations · Documents · Reporting
02

Operational support

Process, coordination and the day-to-day running of the operational side of the business, so work moves without the owner chasing it.

Process · Coordination · Reporting · Delivery
03

CRM and systems project management

Its own discipline, and priced separately. Owning the build or the change programme, managing the configuration, the data and the people using it, so the system keeps being used the way it was designed.

Build ownership · Configuration · Adoption

Each of these is scoped and priced on its own. CRM and systems project management is not billed at executive support rates.

Hours a week, back

A payment process rebuilt for a growing therapy practice. Less admin, and no more chasing unpaid invoices.

★★★★★
"SolvLab recently did an incredible job fully overhauling my current client payment process for my small but quickly expanding therapy practice. Georgina developed and implemented a new payment strategy that saves me at least 5 hours a week in payment administration, not to mention has saved me so much stress in chasing unpaid invoices. I highly recommend SolvLab and I'm looking forward to partnering with Georgina and the SolvLab team in future."

Who this is for

Teams of 2 to 50, growing faster than the systems were built for.

A good fit
  • ✓The business has grown and the way the systems fit together has not kept up.
  • ✓You are considering a hire to absorb work a system could be doing.
  • ✓Someone will own the system once it is built, or you want us to be that someone.
  • ✓You would rather fix the cause than add another tool.
Probably not us
  • —You want software installed and handed over with no change to how the business works.
  • —You need a single small automation and nothing more. We will point you somewhere cheaper.
  • —The decision is already made and you want hands to execute it without questions.

How we price

Scoped before it starts. No open-ended hourly work.

The Lab Report

A fixed fee for the working session, the review of your current systems and tech stack, and the priority recommendations. It stands on its own, and it is credited if you go ahead with a build.

Builds

Fixed scope, fixed fee

Systems work is quoted against a defined scope once we know what we are building. You approve the scope and the number before anything starts, and changes are quoted separately rather than absorbed quietly.

Staged payments · No surprises
Ongoing

Monthly retainer

Fractional operations is a set number of hours a month at an agreed rate. Executive support, operational support and CRM project management are scoped and priced separately, because they are different work.

Monthly · Reviewed quarterly
Common questions

Before you get in touch.

Do we have to move off the systems we already use?
No. Often the better answer is to make what you already own work properly, and connect it to the rest. We will tell you when something genuinely needs replacing, and why.
How long does a build take?
It depends entirely on scope, which is why we quote against a defined scope rather than guessing up front. A single integration is a short piece of work. A CRM redesign across sales, delivery and finance is a programme with stages.
Can we start with just one part?
Yes, and often you should. The Lab Report exists to work out which part matters most, so the first piece of work is the one that changes the most for the least.
Do you only work in Zoho?
Zoho is our specialty and it is where most of our work sits. We also work across ActiveCampaign, Pipedrive, GoHighLevel, ClickUp, Asana, monday.com, Zapier, Make, n8n, Google Workspace and Office 365, and we integrate with accounting platforms like Xero, industry software across finance and property, and anything else with an API. If a different platform serves the business better, we will say so.
What is the difference between fractional operations and hiring someone?
A retainer gives you senior capability for part of a week, without recruiting, onboarding or carrying a salary. It suits businesses that need the judgement more often than they need the hours.
Who actually does the work?
Georgina leads the work and delivers it with the SolvLab team. The same people stay with the engagement rather than being rotated. Executive assistants and operations managers are Australian based, working in your time zone.
Not sure which of these you need?
That is what the Lab Report is for. A 60-minute working session, a review of your current systems and tech stack, and priority recommendations.
